HallMark has worked for many years with Hilton International Co. and Hilton Worldwide Inc. to protect and defend its well known hotel brands HILTON, the stylised H Logo and CONRAD.
HallMark was recently successful, alongside its associates in China, in having the HILTON mark declared as a well known trade mark in China which will greatly add to the companies’ armoury in stopping infringements of the HILTON mark and unscrupulous third parties from trying to register the trade mark HILTON for a wide range of other goods and services.
The decision was a particularly good result, as there are only a very few foreign marks which have been declared as well known in China.
