professional experience
Jandan (Dani) studied Trade Mark, Design and Copyright law at university as part or her Masters Degree in Management of Intellectual Property. On graduation she knew she wanted to specialise in this area and began her professional career at Bromhead & Co as a trainee. On qualifying Dani joined Carpmaels & Ransford, the well-established London based firm of patent and trade mark attorneys where she stayed for eleven years.
During her time there she built up a broad range of experience including trade mark clearance searching, advising on the inherent registrability of trade marks, advising on global portfolio strategies, filing and prosecution of UK and Community trade mark applications and oppositions, filing and prosecution of International Registrations under the Madrid Protocol, advising on and filing overseas trade mark applications, global assignment work and advising on infringement issues.
A recent addition to the HallMark team, Dani is looking forward to working with many of our clients in the protection and development of their trade mark portfolios.
Dani has been an Examiner for the Trade Mark Practice Foundation Paper, the Advanced Community Trade Mark and International Trade Mark Law & Practice for the Institute of Trade Mark Attorrneys.
