Jennifer studied Trade Mark, Design and Copyright law at university as part of her law degree. On graduation she knew she wanted to stay in the profession and joined HallMark IP as a trainee trade mark attorney.
Jennifer has great depth of knowledge in the filing and prosecution of UK and Community Trade Marks in particular trade mark clearance and advisory work relating to overcoming official objections to the inherent registrability of trade marks. A substantial part of her practice involves dealing with UK refusals of International Registrations under the Madrid Protocol, referred to her by overseas attorneys.
She represents a large number of overseas clients seeking to register their marks in the UK and Europe and is also involved in the management of the international trade mark portfolios for InterContinental Hotels and Angostura International.
