Unofficial Requests for Payment of Fees - Beware
We are regularly contacted by our clients concerning letters/invitations they have received asking for payment of fees for publication, registration or renewal of their trade marks. These letters look official and an example is attached. However, these letters are actually generated by companies who are touting for business in an unofficial capacity and in some cases their intention is to defraud the trade mark owner. Please ignore any letter asking for payment of fees in relation to your trade marks. We will send you an invoice if fees need to be paid and you do not need to pay fees to any other party.
