Christine joined the trade mark profession in 1971 working in-house for the Unilever Trade Marks Department. During her time at Unilever she was responsible for worldwide branding strategy, including clearance, filing, prosecution, opposition and litigation in both the Personal Products and Foods sectors.
In 1992 Christine joined British Telecommunications Plc – BT – where she was head of trade marks. Her role included worldwide responsibility for international trade mark strategy, the trade mark aspects of joint ventures, licensing and branding for new businesses and products. She also spent a substantial amount of time on domain name infringement and enforcement.
Since joining HallMark IP, she has represented a range of well known brands including Hilton Hotels, Toyota, Thomson Holidays, Folli Follie, Jewelultra, Cadbury Schweppes and LK Bennett.
For a number of years, Christine was an Examiner for the Finals Paper for the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
